I made the same decision 20 years ago but when I was there most of the visitors were climbing it. So I’m interested to know, 20 years later, are lots of people still choosing to climb or has it shifted the other way now? X

Not many climb these days, but a few still do. From next year it won’t be allowed at all. Our experiences – walking round the base, seeing the glories of sunrise and sunset as well as the changing light on the rock through the day, and hearing the stories- couldn’t have been better!
